| | The example of the Paris International Air Show - Bourget 2005, 2007, 2009 The Paris International Air Show is the aerospace industry’s leading international event: 2,000 exhibitors, 220,000 professional guests from 141 countries, 260,000 regular visitors. 206 official delegations, and 3,500 accredited journalists.
In 2005, the organizers of the Show, which takes place every two years at Le Bourget Airfield, decided to develop official partnership and public relations programs with advertisers and brands from outside the aviation industry in order to optimize the event.
Event & Partner was assigned the mission of creating, marketing and implementing all aspects of these programs in 2005 and 2007, and will do so again for the 2009 Show, which will mark the centennial of the event.
Event & Partner started by identifying and listing the media, products and programs that could be marketed within the framework of these partnership and public relations programs.
For the first time in the history of the Show, the exclusive VIP “Partner Chalet” PR programs were offered to brands from outside the aviation industry.
Event & Partner then created offers and packages with potential added value and in line with market expectations. The agency, working in close collaboration with the Show’s organizers, is responsible for the marketing and signing of agreements relating to the partnership and public relations programs.
Since 2005, partners such as Accenture, FedEx, Renault, Breitling, Ixair, Hewlett-Packard, Sym, Marsh, the magazine Usine Nouvelle and Sony, have joined forces with us and three « Partner Chalet » reception areas are now available for visitors on a daily or weekly basis as part of the 2009 Paris Air Show commercial offer. |
